Only if he has a Genie. Why did they abandon the other boxes? :censored

Probably figuring that the Genie will be the only boxes going forward.

What you can do.is check the software site, I don't have it handy and see if any others pop up with new software at 11 pm, I have seen that happen but I havent checked in a month or so.

No idea on when software testing will start but I can say there will be some very big changes to the 44 in the not to distant future

Read through some of the details Jason has posted in the hr54/h44 thread carefully. Keep in mind aside from the release date on the h44 I have no concrete release dates. But we all know software goes through testing. And I would assume an estimated q4 2015 release would point to a q2/q3 ce release. But truth be told I don't know. I'm basing my guess on how long MRV went through testing.

One thing I will clarify is my information says this change will only apply to the 44 and not 34 which would mean we will eventually see ce on the 44 only, or at the very least two separate fw updates. Maybe when the 34.700 hits directvs scrap list things will be more clear. Again I don't know when that will be either.. but I do love being cryptic. Maybe I should change my name to kryptickitty.... has a nice ring to it.... but then I'd lose my whole kitty nickname and people would start calling me kryptic.... yea .... no...

Was hoping for 0x09CE to have S#/E# but no such luck. Will retreat to back to 0x0994 when I see it in the stream.
