BB@ Home disc By Mail Ending September 19th

Got the email. I wonder if those credits will hold after I cancel BB@H?

I canceled my BB@Home service last night. With the $10 saved, I'll add another disc to my Netflix account and keep the rest. Besides, Netflix was a much better service. I never received an email offering free PPV. Oh well.

"Also for your inconvenience, starting on 9/20/13 you will receive two free Pay-Per-View certificates per month for the next three months. An email will be sent to you every month at the time of issuance. To use your Pay-Per-View certificates, please visit "

Why are some people getting only one PPV coupon each month. Is anyone getting three?

I finally got the email last night that the Blockbusters Movies to Home was going away.

I was smart... I went to the Blockbuster site and picked a bunch of movies I liked but did not have on Bluray... so now I have one Bluray movie I can keep that I wanted to buy... the disc came a few days ago. :D

I would assume the PPV coupon amount problably depends on if you had 1,2 or the 3 disc plan.
I had a comp. 1 disc plan and got 2 PPVs a month for 3 months.......is it the average of 3.5 disc a month I got with BB......? No...but it is something, and I won't be inclined to bitch about the terrible intermittent service.......:coffee

I had 1 disc per month and receive the 2 per month email. I was getting about 4 discs per month.

Yea I wonder if this will push the remaining stores over the edge, I have a few in Colorado but how much longer I wonder.
It is nice you can get to your que via blockbuster.com by inputting the email you gave Dish and resetting your password so if you choose to go to blockbuster mail you won't have to rebuild your que.
It is also nice they are giving PPV certificates for three months. There are worse ways they could have ended this program. Also remember you can get half price for 6 months by going to the cancel screen.
I'll keep BB@Home a few months anyway but not sure it is worth $10 Amazon Prime streaming and netflix streaming are both far superior.

Yesterday, received notice of last disk was sent out (Shoot the Piano Player) went with a Criterion Disk.

Overall was happy with the 4-6 disks/mo.

Only watched older movies never had delays.

Trying NetFlix now $11.99/mo 2 disks at a time. Service is quick, already have had 2 broken disks, had 1 with Blockbuster. Some disks aren't available between the 2 services depending on the movie.

Will miss Blockbuster Free ;).

I also have 1 out at a time and got the 2 for 3 months.

Realized that the cutoff is Thursday, NOT Friday. Since I mailed my last disc back Monday, it'll be almost a miracle if they send me the next one. Fingers crossed. It'll save me $17, the cost of that BD from the amazing place. :p

Say one gets a disc in the mail on the 19th and goes to do a store exchange do you think it's possible? No desire to keep a disk by a store exchange (with no mail coming after that) would be fine.

So can I cancel BB@H now and get that $10 a month taken off my bill? I have no need for it without the disc mailing portion.

Might want to wait a bit and see if they give you the two PPV before cancelling.

It's a MIRACLE!
