Pentagon channel is off the air temporarily (slate up) due to the government shut-down on 101W. VA Knowledge Network mux on 123W still operating.

NASA TV has the same problem. Slate instead of cool space related stuff for the duration.

Oh well. They'll be back.

I went to try TPC on the amiko nano tonight was like darn it.

They could at least play a loop of programming you ask me.

It is back probably because the civilian DOD employees got called back on Monday. Hagel interpreted the bill that allows DOD to pay the military to allow them to recall, and pay the civilian DOD employees. Must be nice to be a fed and get paid I am working for free right now. I work for SSA, and was deemed "essential" so I have to go in and wait till god knows when to get paid.

It's most likely apart of the deal that got AFN back up. Super sh!tty for the troops who couldn't watch football this weekend.
