DISH Reaches Long Term Agreement with DISNEY / ESPN / ABC

Alright Dish, you have 2 weeks to get this done. My Vols play on ESPNU on the 30th. This has dragged out long enough.

Charlie's an alumni so this should be his top priority before game day.

The channels are still on Dish with no sign that they are going off any time soon. Enjoy your game, eventually Dish and Disney will work something out.

I had the same thought when they announced yesterday. Was glad to see that the UT/Vandy game this weekend is going to be on ESPN2 instead of U. We will be out tailgating and will likely just watch the game from the tailgate.

Officials were AFRAID of the crowd, AFRAID to make the right call. Is it worth a riot to follow the rules? Guess not.
Assuming you're talking about the last play, do you for one second believe Gronkowski could have CAUGHT the ball if he wasn't being held? Keep in mind at the time, he was at least 5 yards from where ball was caught AND moving away from that point. It's no different than a flag being waved off because the pass was 10 feet over the head of the receiver.

You are assuming PI. Illegal contact does not even have be a catchable ball. Clearly illegal. Weak, WWF-style fail by the refs. Cowardly.

And I hate the Patriots, FWIW.

Can't be Illegal Contact. According to the rule, the QB must still have the ball for there to be illegal contact. Rule 8, Section 4, Article 3. The contact clearly happens after the pass is in the air so the only possibility is PI.

Now, do you think, if there was no contact that Gronk had a chance to CATCH the ball? The ball was underthrown and Gronk's momentum was taking him away from the play allowing the defender to undercut him.
