I looked at 97W today and I was surprised to see that some of the old transponders are still lit up, they just don't have programming on them.

I was pleasantly surprised at the video quality of the relocated channels. I expected them to be worse since there are more channels in the muxes now, but they're fine. In fact, Lithuania is much better than it used to be. (USArmenia still looks terrible, it must be the people producing the programs.)

And I notice their logo now reads "US Armenia HD." But for me, the worst feed is RTS 1 from Senegal. It started out very nice, but I suspect they are now using some sort of different delivery method to the uplink location. Most of the print is now illegible on screen.
 
The PQ on the Globecast channels has always varied greatly. Probably has a lot to do with the quality originating at the source of each service.
