DISH Reaches Long Term Agreement with DISNEY / ESPN / ABC

So....Did the autohop do anything to keep prices lower? That's my point. What about the average customer with no premiums,$10 more in 24 months.DTV rate hikes weren't that much in the same time frame.

If you remember AEP was a special Discount pack, as prices increased the AEP price stayed the same for one or two increases. After that it started going up. HBO by itself is now up to something like $19 a month When AEP started I believe it was $10.00.

Blaming the Hopper for your AEP going up is as silly as me blaming you for global warming because you ate at Taco Bell last night. :D

Sorry if I missed something, I tried looking over the news stories first...Is there any mention of Disney Jr? My 4 year old grandson would be in heaven!

I would be surprised if they don't get Disney Jr.I would also be surprised if they don't have every Disney Espn channel available.

To me this just slightly dilutes the value of the Hopper and will become part of my occasional (and often inconsistent) consideration of value for the dollar.

Good Catch Eric!

I wasn't even reading the article, I was just posting the URL's to the storys as quickly as they were being posted
It also covers new Disney networks. Those include Fusion (a joint venture with Univision), which programs news and other programming for the millennial generation; the SEC Network, a channel ESPN plans to launch later this year, will carry sports events from the Southeast Conference, which is a football powerhouse most years; Disney Junior; the Longhorn Network; and ESPN 3.

Good news, the deal is done. The bad news, it took so long to get the agreement, it expires tomorrow. ;)

I'm not a fan of Taco Bell at all, but their $1 loaded grillers are pretty good for the money.
