Vital Program Information Download S503.

Another download tonight--it seems I just got S502. So now we need to find out what is "fixed?"
This time. Yes, Dish really need to give us some hints. It will help their bug hunting, too.
Noticed it was 1:30 and just got it HwS turned off in time to get this right away, ending near 2AM.
Longer than usual blank screen.

First, I'm not seeing the multiplicity of Season+Episode (mismatched) events.
Still some quirks: Bones has Ep1,Ep3,Ep2,Ep216,Ep5,.... (No seasons there.)
Those are successive weeks on EHD.
Episode sort seems by First Aired even if not by Ep number, which is good.
Let's bring some more changes to light.

I got 2 downloads within a few days apart. Been having problems when recording Deadliest Catch. Have DVR set to Only New,but it is recording repeats. It sometimes also says 100% watched when I never watched it. Hope this gets fixed.

One of my H2Ks normally gets the corresponding update the first night but nothing this time. Maybe this is for HWS only.

Hopefully this fixed some of the problems and will roll out soon. I never did get S502. I am looking forward to trying out the multi swap feature.

Unfortunately the major bug with 502 where you can't make new timers for OTA channels (aside from manual) and old timers don't work, is still present in 503. So i would expect another new version pretty soon.

Finally got the S503 and they never sent me the S502 went straight to S503!!

Well, I got S503 last night, but never got S502. I went from 342 to 503. When I select the # button I get the search with the title of the current program listed. So, maybe this has been fixed, since someone reported that S502 did not show any title in the search title area. Also, I added an OTA timer for two programs and they worked. Will wait to see if they record.
Have not checked other functions yet.

Same here. I'm glad they started the roll out where they stopped S502 at. Didn't get a chance to really look at multi swap before I had to leave for work.

I also went from 342 to 503 on my HWS... have not noticed any problems or new features. I sure wish we had firmware release notes available.

I'm on S502 and my OTA timer fired off just in time to record Wheel of Fortune on the XX-01 channel. Was able to set a one time timer for a program later tonight, also.

Went from 502 to 503 and lost a BUNCH more program icons on my EHDs. I now see a lot of channel icons instead of program icons. The only upside is that I also see a lot fewer of the generic Dish icons, which also have been replaced by channel icons. I haven't looked closely enough yet to see if they actually reflect the correct channel for each program. Here's hoping that some of the program icons return over the next few days, but I doubt it. If I were to make a quick estimate, I would say that only about 20% of the shows on my two EHDs have the correct program icons now, and many of them are very recent recordings.

I don't understand why this is so difficult for them. If they can't make it work, they should give us the option of a list view so we don't have to look at it.
