CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

Not really timely if you are in the Dallas area where the real thing is happening.
We now have Patients 1 & 2 nurses that treated Mr. Duncan. Dallas Presbyterian should have taken lessons from CSI. Patient #2 on OCT 10 flew to Cleveland and returned on 10/13/2014 while running a low grade fever of 99.5. She is going to be transferred to Emory University Hospital.

"Girls Gone Wilder":
While Morgan, Finlay and Sidle seek relaxation at a forensics conference, a mass shooting takes place on site.

I read elsewhere that the games ran late as usual on the east, plus facing the World Series & SNF, they pulled the new episode (probably subbed the older one for the Mountain & West time zones).

The weird thing is that both Madam Secretary, and The Good Wife were new and they are on before CSI. Just weird to cancel CSI and not the two before it. Who knows.

HTC One M8

From what I read elsewhere, the CSI show is dropping in ratings after all these years on the air and most likely the bad night it is on, after sports overruns.

I think the above comments answer my question.
I don´t watch CSI, but I wanted to watch the Blue Bloods reruns on an East affiliate,
I knew the Good Wife came on late.
I came back later to check and Blue Bloods was already on, so I think there was
no CSI at all last night on that East affiliate.

I've yet to understand why CBS hasn't figured out Sunday nights during football season. Fox did! 4:30 games do not end by 7, ever. They rarely end by 7:30. Even ABC used to have 15 minute sitcom episodes to make up for this when they had afternoon games.
Pushing your Sunday schedule back 4, 10, 15, 30 minutes is IDIOTIC whey they KNOW it will cost them viewers!

The Mentalist suffered the same thing last football season, ratings were affected by football overruns, sometimes the scheduled episode didn´t air due to that.

For that or a combination of reasons, Mentalist has been relegated now and will see it´s last season, actually only half a season.

Maybe CBS has decided that all older programs on their last legs go to Sunday nights during football season, will got to Sunday nights. Then if they start dropping in ratings it will be used to justify cancelling them by the season's end. Lets look at CSI , it is already been on longer than it's spinoffs and is really about played out. Good Wife has seen it's prime and the audience that watches it is past the demographic that advertisers want: 18-49. CSI is also past the demo they want too. Madame Secretary starts the night and it skews to an older audience as well because of it's political subject matter. If it makes it is because it is still on early enough to be seen ,even with sports over runs. Yes I think CBS is trying kill these shows and doesn't really care if they survive any longer. They figured out that the only audience at home watching it ,are the older generation that they don't care about anyway. You can bet that you won't see Big Bang Theory on Sunday nights.

What's Big Bang Theory? Am I too old to watch it?

What's Big Bang Theory? Am I too old to watch it?

I think I am, I´ve watched a few episodes, but it isn´t for me.
That show does just great on ratings with the 18-49 group.

And maybe I´m not close to the grave, but I´m a fan of classic movies (as you can see from my avatar :oldwink)

Google search Big Bang Theory the show and read all about it. One of the most watched comedies on CBS and has already been renewed for like three years out .
The question was tongue in cheek, I've never been able to get into the show. BUT it is also a long time since I've seen 49

That Big Bang theory has won the Monte Carlo award for comedy most watched in the world.
I´m not a fan, but I must acknowledge its success.

When I can stand the laugh track (i.e. the jokes are actually funny), I enjoy BigBang theoury. Unfortunately, I cannot stand TV shows with laugh tracks. It's worse than nails on a chalkboard...icepick to the ears. So sitcoms are not something I can watch for more than a few minutes at a time.
