Am I the only one noticing that the weather segments on WNHD are left-only? The local forecast music, promos, and commercials are normal.

It had been this way since at least last night (Saturday.) It seems to be better now.

Sorry but I haven't watched a weather channel to know for ages now.

I have always loved watching weather on TV. The old days of the Weather Channel were great. It's hard to watch now. To tie in with the ticker conversation on the other thread - ESPN better NEVER look like The Weather Channel now - L-screen, two tickers, and jibberish on the right.

They already do that with many of thier TV shows on espn.

I was floored weh I used to watch Mike and MIKE before work, they had a SD studio and finally went to an HD new set and they looked great, then the next day, they showed up and they cut off the EXTRA with a "Whats coming up" wall.
WASTED space for HD.
Basically they went to an HD format with an HD Feed on a 4x3 screen with the side taken out like that ... always thought that was a stupid thing to do.

I think all the radio simulcasts on the ESPN family are like that. Dan Patrick on Audience is ticker and clutter free. I can deal with the Audience logo ghosted in the corner.

The Weather Channel through the cable company is much better. It actually has your actual local weather on the bottom of the screen very often. Satellite doesn't have that. That's probably the only advantage I know of that cable has over satellite.

Not here. My parents have Comcast X1 and there is no local forecast at all, not even during the "local on the 8's".

I was posting about WeatherNation (361) not The Weather Channel (362). WN's audio is still screwy, but at least it's balanced between the audio channels. I am watching Boston locals coverage. My brother lives near the ocean south of Boston and it's a mess.
