Have a SUPERBUDDY, to dumb to use it

ok here is the story, moved into a camper in west texas and brought an extra hd recieved from home. I bought a satelite kit on the Internet thought how hard can it be. Followed the directions, could only get a 90+ signal on 101. I then paid a guy who installs dish to come point it for me cuz he said no problem it's all the same. He got 60-80 on all of them but I need 90+. So! What do j do but but a really expensive SUPERBUDDY and now I don't know how to use it. My equipment is as follows:
Hr-24 reciever
Sl3S4NR2-14 LNB
SLIMLINE DISH
SWM POWER SOURCE.

So when I go through setup I choose directv,swm, SL3S pointing, and none on the switch. Can anyone help? The only satellites I get are 101 and 95 on the SB DISPLAY?

You do know that the meters wont show the actual same Signal Strength as the recvr, right ...

What I'm saying in a typical meter may show somewhere in the 70's while when you look at the meter on the recvr, you'll be in the 90's.
Other meters vary ...

I own & use the super buddy 29. It's an awesome meter, however it will not lock or read 99 or 103. There is a reason for this. I won't try to explain it because it's easier to read the SB docs on their site.

The meter when setup properly will accurately display the same signal as the receiver. If your not getting the signal you need you could have a warped dish pan.

Yes, even with the funky way dish receivers read as well.

The Super Buddy is a newer meter that does show the same on the meter as on the receiver if the meter settings are set to do so. Some of the older meters does show a different signal than what the receiver does. I have verified that it does show the same signal strength.

I got a Directv aim meter and it works great
