Actually H2 is gone,replaced by VICE,a crap channel IMO,there is a thread about it in this forum.

I say that because as i posted in another forum, i was told by a rep who said that they were from corporate that dish has the contractual rights to carry military history anytime they want per the new agreement with a&e networks. I will also add that a rep from a&e networks later confirmed this and said that dish also has the right to ad lifetime real women anytime they want.

Now that's totally BS about lifetime real women..dish threw lifetime off the air for over a month to not carry that channel

I was only asking about military history since it was mentioned in the press release but the guy from a&e said the latest agreement covered all of a&e channels including the two that dish doesnt carry, military and lrw. He said dish doesnt have to add them but can anytime they want. This was the thing the guy from dish "corporate" told me about military

MHC has better programming than the old Military Channel.

Although I will admit AHC has good programming, better than I expected. No complaints on that change.

What ever you do NEVER tune to this channel. Dish gathers channel usage stats, the stats will show no one ever watches it and they will someday replace it with something people will watch. Sat Bandwidth is valuable.

Not a renamed channel. It is an entirely different channel.
It is aimed at a VERY left wing demographic.
I looked at the video on youtube of the examples of programming.
Lots of stuff geared toward those with "alternative" lifestyles.
I won't be tuning in because the programming does not appeal.
Definitely a niche channel
