This is true, and something that has already been done in their back offices. It's called capitalism and considered an acceptable loss. Doesn't really affect bottom dollar nor planned revenues.
It's even possible the cost to develop and maintain it would not be recovered but as you say no doubt they felt it was an acceptable market not to try and fill, at least now.

Really annoyed with myself. I left the hoppergo plugged in overnight to prepare and transfer two movies and managed to leave it plugged into the H3 instead of bringing it with me.

My most significant disappointment with the HopperGo is that it will only work with the DishAnywhere App and not with the browser based DishAnywhere site. That leaves it unusable with the many people who have Windows based tablets. It is time for Dish to create an App for the Windows based phones and tablets.
So I guess that the HG is useless unless we have Android or Apple devices?

How big is the harddrive on the HG?
FWIW:
When I connect the USB jack to my PC, properties show:
USB Drive/FAT32 with a capacity of 5.98 GB (6,429,892,608 bytes). I don't think this can be accurate as I'm sure I read it was supposed to be 64GB. Not sure why the PC sees this.
It also shows that there is 12.0 KB of "used space" which doesn't seem accurate as I currently have something like 65 or 70 hours of recordings on it.
