When I try to reply to a post from my cell phone I get a connecting to server popup that just keeps going on forever and never connects. Started having this issue about a week ago. This is happening both from at home on my Internet service and when I am out and about and use Verizon network. Anything I can try to resolve this issue? I am receiving email thread updates on my phone and can open them with no problems. Just can't reply.

Is this using the SatGuys app?

Have you tried going in and forcing a stop, and clearing data and cache...resetting phone.
If that doesn't work try uninstalling the app and downloading and re-installing.

OK, thanks. Will give that a try and let you know how goes it.

I uninstalled the SatGuys Reader app and then reinstalled. Still doesn't connect when I reply to a post. Now I get a second popup that says "Failed to connect to the forum, please check with the forum administrator if problem persists".

Do you have any kind of anti-virus, or ad blocking apps on that phone?
What brand and model of phone is it?

Two year old Motorola Droid Maxx with Verizon. No add blocking that I know of. It worked fine up to about a week ago. I will turn off the security and try again.

Hmmm very odd. Might be something on Tapatalk's side of things. Maybe Scott Greczkowski can offer more ideas.

I see that error when there are connectivity issues, either my end or the site's end or somewhere in between. Try some other forums than just this one.
SatGuys forum app is the only one I have on my cell phone.

Over the last week or so I have seen odd problems with the app, mainly wildly varying unread message counts. I have on occasion seen your issue also. No clear explanation why it happens but it eventually works properly.

I did a reply test straight from the app in my cell phone and it worked. Then I tried a test from an email in my cell phone like I normally do and it won't connect. So I guess there is something wrong with that in my phone. It sure use to work from an email so no telling what is the problem, but it must be from my end I guess.

Ahh I didn't get that you were replying from inside the email. The one time I ever tried I could not respond from an email in the App, in fact I sometimes have problems going from my computer from inside a message to the site so I don't even try that anymore.

Yep, I was replying from Charter email in my phone. It sure use to work. I will turn on the SatGuys app notification setting in my phone and see if I can reply from the notification pop up instead of opening an email from SatGuys. Got notifications turned on now. Can you reply to this post and I will try it out? Thanks.

Well, I tried replying to another post from a SatGuys pop up on my cell phone and I get a popup that says "Need valid forum id!" So that isn't working either. The only way I can reply to a post from my cell phone is to go in to the app itself, find the thread, find the post, and then reply. Any suggestions? We are heading out for a while so will reply when we get back home.
