Anyone else having problem with the new youtube app? It worked for a day or two than stopped working. When you click on the app or tune to channel 371, it shows youtube starting or loading screen for couple seconds then it switches back to a regular tv channel. I tried to restart the receiver couple times but so far no go. Any ideas?

I do not even have the app. Is resetting the Hopper, ok if you do not have the App

I just posted about this. I didn't see this thread at first. But yeah, same with me. Just as I was getting spoiled not having to go through Apple TV or the PS4.

I have to do this almost daily and have Dish install a new hopper, I can bypass the hopper and connect the tv directly and it works fine. By the way I have Att internet

On my Hopper 3, I have an issue almost daily with the YouTube app where it will randomly speed up and skip ahead several seconds at a time while watching a video. Rarely, rewinding the video will fix it. Usually, the issue will repeat again after rewinding it, although the skip does not necessarily happen at the same place again. This tends to happen near the beginning of the video, although I have seen it happen farther into some videos. Whenever this happens, I exit the YouTube app, go to Diagnostics > Tools, and then reset the Hopper. (Not a factory default reset, just the regular reset button in the upper left.) This fixes the issue for that day, until the next day that it decides to screw up. Often when I re-enter the YouTube app after the reset, the video I had been trying to watch will be the top recommendation, but other times I have to search to find it again.
