Tonight I started to work on my dish again get things cleaned up before the snow files so tonight I am putting these nice powered zinwell switches in the box. I got these from Hank123 thank you bud. I am 2/3 of the way through already wired up the old computer tower with switches no just wiring up lnb's to the switches in the box. few more hours worth of work. I got some pics here also to show.

I use three of those Zinwell switches. Work very well. Using a 10A 24vdc power supply to run all three, and room for a 4th. Takes a lot of load from the receivers, and very little signal loss from adding them in (replaces 22KHz switches). I use 3-4 receivers. Need more dual LNBFs and dishes! :)

I got it wrapped up took overall 4 hours it was a pain but not what i expected but looks better now. i put a trash bag overall the box to keep the water out. all of the lnbs are working now going to 3 rooms.

Good to see you're getting this setup. I got so pissed off with my diseqc I had to find a different solution that works.

A while back, the phone company started putting thick orange plastic bags over all the pedestals everywhere out here along the country roads too.

My units are exposed to the elements. I had another one that survived the elements from the prior year so i am hopeful. Covering yours couldn't hurt unless there is a over heating issue during the summer??? But, good job!!!

I have four of those switches jammed in an enclosure, that is in the shade,
it gets hot inside but have had no issues. Power supplies are in a separate enclosure.
Picture shown has three inside, and I have added a fourth since:

Need more dual LNBFs

I use some of the single output LNBFs I had lying around with the Zinwell,
If a sat has only single polarity transponders that you are interested in.
On my 95W Ku dish, a converted pay dish, CCTV is H and goes on an H input,
on the adjacent V input I have a single output Chaparral LNB for the
125W Ku 12180 V and 11917 V Transponders for PBS.
It conserves inputs and lets you use single output LNBFs you may already have.
And yes these sats will be viewable on all TVs.

Fred, a small fan in that box would help keep them cool. Nice neat job of dressing that wiring! I have to re-do mine, it's a mess right now!
