I transferred a few programs to my iPhone Dish anywhere and without internet on a plane I can't even open the app. Any ideas? Can in log on in the waiting room, start the show, pause, and continue in board without internet? Support was clueless. Good me to delete and reinstall, thereby losing the transfers.

You should be able to log in to the app just once and then be able to get back into it. It needs to authenticate, internet required, then you can view the programs offline. Sorry about the trouble. Deleting the app does delete any content that was transferred

Thanks, Matt. That's what I thought/hoped. Wish I knew before the outbound flight. Caught up on some podcasts and readings

Post-flight update...was able to watch the two Designated Survivors that I had, BUT every minute (or less) a white box popped up telling me how I didn't have internet access. Annoying, unnecessary and amateurish for an app.

Then I watched a few Bates Motels on Netflix (via their new download feature). Smooth, easy, and NO reminders. Get with it, Dish.
