Probably never. All the markets are outdated. Since they discontinued it and no longer support it, I would almost safely say there's no chance. It doesn't work for all channels now because there is a certain TMS ID number that each station has and the AM21 is too stupid to understand them over a certain number. All the new subchannels have numbers that are too big. So if it scans in a signal that doesn't match the precious database, it just ignores it. There was a time when the Genie server was first released that it would display all the scanned channels, those which were not in the database just showed "regular schedule" as guide data. At least the channel was there. I wish someone smarter than I could hack into that thing and fiddle with something to make it work that way again!

I agree, wish it was possible to have all the channels on one guide and not have to flip between my TV tune and DIRECTV.

I suspect we'll see improvements to the OTA software development in the DirecTV receivers about the same time we see an OTA tuner that isn't the size of an H21 receiver, as in, no time soon.

Actually, one that "could" be added for the Detroit DMA is METV WDIV 4.3 RF45. The TMS-ID number on that channel is 40547 and is under the 65000 range limit on the database on the AM21. I don't know who you would contact to get it added to the database, maybe D* or probably better to contact the station WDIV itself. But "good luck" with that proposition. Other stations not in the D* database for Detroit can be added by running secondary zips (including 4.3) but in most instances your guide data will be wrong.

True, flipping back and forth is a pain in the neck, but at least you'd have everything available to you. Only a suggestion.
Same here ....

Hated losing an integrated Sat/OTA guide and having to switch HDMI inputs back and forth is indeed a pain.

But the AM21 was just such a pig to me, especially on a Genie, even with all the clever workarounds from those like coconut10. So I finally just surrendered about 2 years ago and got an OTA TIVO.
