The 3 UHD channels that Directv have, what are on the 3 channels? Is one just an events channel? One a PPV movie channel and the other a proper linear 24/7 channel? What is on this channel all day? Why is there no listings for these channel? Also why did Directv not give them names, like Directv UHD 1 or sonething? They really need names.

They seem to have names and listings online....

Channel 104 - DirecTV 4K shows mostly films about nature. It seems more designed to show off the picture quality of a 4K set in the store than anything you might actually watch for entertainment at home. In any event after a few weeks the loop repeats.

Channel 105 -Cinema 4K shows PPV movies.

Channel 106 - Live 4K is the only channel with material you might actually watch. It shows 4K versions of various sporting events, taken from multiple networks. It has shown college football, NBA, MLB, and golf, among other things. Also had the Rose Parade. DirecTV recent contract with Fox adds material from that network group to the mix.

But they dont really have names for them. No proper names anyway. How would you go looking on the web for ch.104? Notlike when they had the 3D channel it was called n3D and it actually had a name. These dont seem to proper 3D channels anyway.

I saw a few Audience shows mixed into ch 104, I think I saw Undeniable with Joe Buck and I know I saw Off Camera with Sam Jones. I thought that was a weird show to show in 4K since it's black and white.

I actually like channel 104. They are mostly old Imax films and other educational material. I like educational stuff and that's one of my favorite stations.
