So, I've been with Direct for 18+ years with Choice Extra Classic programming, spending $165/month on their service. Yesterday, tried to tune in to channel 696, CSN Bay area only to find that it has been removed. Called Direct and they want another $70/month to upgrade my programming so that I could get this one particular channel. $235/month?? Really?? Anyone else having such issues with Direct?

All that's required for CSNBA or NBCSBA as it's known today, is Choice. I'm not sure what that rep is telling you as even to go up to the next package is not a $70 jump. Are you sure they didn't mean $7?

Im watching it right now?....I dont have that package but I do subscribe to the RSN package at $14 a month.

Try refreshing your receiver online if you've always been able to watch it.

Thanks for everyone's input! I think Directv may be phasing out the programming package that I had. That being said, I was able to "upgrade" my programming package and save $1.00/month. I now have the Xtra package and am back to watching the Giants. Thanks, again, everyone!
