While pitching me to become a Charter/Spectrum Re-seller, among other future plans for Spectrum, a rep told me that they were in the process of acquiring DISH. I hadn't heard that rumor before but didn't question him on it. Anyone hear anything like this lately?

As a company Charter is doing quite well. Their ceo Tom Rutledge is also doing really well. It has been reported he made 98 million for 2016. Personally I don't know how he makes ends meet.

Paul Allen - Wikipedia Has a large controlling interest in Charter. He previously co-founded Microsoft with Gates. In fact, he came up with the name "Micro-Soft".

It usually means he was going to post something, maybe he actually did, then thought better of it and deleted it without removing the post completely.

Yeah, he was laying a pretty hard sell on me which was kind of funny, considering I was the one who contacted them.
The only DISH buyout that Charter is currently contemplating is the commitments of DISH customers.
Lol lol lol lol.
Charter will pay up to $500 to buy out your contract if you get a triple play.
Besides that unless Sprint or Verizon are interested, nobody wants Dish.
I didn't stop reading, but I almost laughed out loud at that part !! Sure, sales reps know those sort of details while the rest of the (financial) world does not !
