Just to add to the conversation, my daughter who has Comcast CableTV, sees similar speed reduction between her Comcast X1 and her Vizio TV..... I don't think it's a Hopper issue at all.
I just opened Netflix through my smart tv and it shows 89.3 Mbps and 4K. I guess I have to connect the smart tv to my AV Receiver to get better sound ,also.
What, are you kidding me? When did that happen? Do you know where he works now? Who is the best DIRT member now to work on things for us. I will let them know again about the issue.
Nope hes been gone for about a month now.
Sad as I worked with him greatly to get DIRT setup. When we first started talking DISH did not want us to talk and when I went to Denver FORBID him to meet with me in Person.

well i do not know whats going on i tried using DTS playfi this morning using iheart radio and it sounds likes someone or music talking so slow when you use pandora or any other services they are fine it is just iheart radio on dts playfi. could someone please check into what is going on thanks

I tested Dish music using Iheart radio and verified that there is a problem. The songs are in slow motion and it keeps skipping from song to song.
Of course I now use Alexa with my echo instead of Dish music.

Anyone notice pixelization and sound break ups since this update? tried a reboot no change, signals in low 50's.
That's a 50/50. I wish him well. We use to hang at the same places and I would see him every so often for a beer. Plus I owe him a lot of beers and many of the rest of the crew . . . . I wonder if he stayed in Denver?
OK, back to our scheduled but not recorded program . . . . So about this two H3's playing well. Kinda. Trick play is working better, but I can't get out, there's no stop button and the onscreen info is really wrong. I tried to take a pick but the OSD goes away before the camera locks on and it's wonky but shows what I am saying. This pic was playback from my other H3 and it took a bit for it to come up.
My H3 has U517.
Went to the software upgrade screen and clicked on upgrade software.
Said it might take 30 minutes.
After about 2 minutes it rebooted and came back up still at U517.

You have to let it reboot and then leave it alone for a while.
I’m thinking everybody’s made that mistake once. I’m on my back deck waiting for the update to complete. Ok ok twice
Ahh, I had PM’d him here on SG about a month ago and didn’t get a response which I thought was strange because he was always very responsive.
Major bummer.
