Hi,
I would like to see advice regarding a strange or even I would called it a weird issue there is with one satellite dish for receiving the CNN Mux to be specific CNNE (CNN en Español) (everything legal and authorized to get the CNN feed).

The problem is the satellite dish does receive the Mux great from CNN at 43.1 W (Intelsat 11) Freq, is 4040 H at a high signal level , but some weeks ago the quality level started to drop intermittent during certain hours of the day and would correct itself again, but during the last days the quality level was going crazy, even was tried the same signal on another identical SA receiver D9850 and it showed the same issue. (so the receiver tuner issue has been ruled out )

Wednesday the satellite dish that is an KTI brand, was aligned and LNB re-skewed again (LNB is from a Brazilian brand ) with an digital satellite meter, cables and connectors has been reviewed and everything worked fine with a high level and quality almost the same as the level after re-skewing and aligning the dish, but suddenly a couple of hours later the problem started again that the quality level would go crazy, and the signal level would remain stable.

The location is Aruba in the Caribbean Area where the signal is being received, any advice would be highly appreciated, Thank You all.

Have you had any Wireless Internet providers putting up towers around you lately?

That is a good point, indeed there is a cell site close-by but that cell site has been there for years, but first time in 3 years that the dish is in the same place this problem would appear, it happened never before, it started just intermittent at certain hours of the day, then it became almost the whole day, what I am puzzled is that after re-skewing and realignment everything worked great and a couple of hours later it would go crazy again.

Just shooting in the dark, but have you checked your coax and connectors? Might check to see if there has been any new radar installations go up lately. I've got channels I've had no problem with for months suddenly go out. First, it was no signal at all, then I found these channels with a blind scan and good signal, but no picture, just a black screen. Still scratching my head trying to remedy that problem.

I've had three different dishes aimed at the satellite giving me trouble, and all three had the same issue. It's a process of elimination sometimes, as Titanium said, throwing something at the wall to see what sticks. :)
