I really don't care how long it takes. The only time it comes on now is when I take my dog out and it is always on when we come back on. But if I had to say, I would say, 2-3 minutes.

So I downloaded 1144, hoping to see the DVR locations labeled like they claimed it would be on this version. I only have one DVR and no clients, so it's not a big deal, but only 1 show in my entire list notes the DVR it was recorded on. That show is Around the Horn on ESPN. No other show has the DVR name listed.
My HR54-500 on 0x1144 lists Life Below Zero as having been recorded on my HR24 in the basement.
Maybe that's what it needs - since I only have one DVR, it always records from the same one. Maybe I would see it more if it recorded somewhere else. It appears the one time I saw it was a fluke since the new episodes of the show don't have the DVR label, it was a one-time thing for me.
same here around 6 minutes, only OLED folks need screen savers as well as the holdout Plasma owners.

I know what I will get when the time comes ... the Sony A8 is what I'm looking at ... I've seen the Masters version as well but don't need to spend the extra for what I see the difference to be.
Ahh, ok. I’m pretty happy with it overall, I’m just hoping they bring back the logos in the guide, i personally really liked them, and had no issues. Just looks unfinished to me without them, compared to say the Dish guide, and most other providers that have he logos.

I have tried clearmy box before and it didn’t help. I hope I get an update soon. Another annoying thing I’m dealing with is the previous channel button will suddenly stop working. I press it and the remote will light up but it won’t switch to another channel.
Is the new GUI not compatible with the DTV streaming App? I keep getting an error message saying it can't connect to the DVR make sure you have right DVR and I have the HR-44. I also have under external devices all the sections set to allow. Thanks.
