Just curious-Have you tried Vue yet?I find the picture quality very soft on both a PS4 and Roku.Also no Dolby Digital (at least on non premium channels).I know the PQ is not my Spectrum internet because both Netflix and Prime look fine.

I have, on roku and fire tv. I found it sharper on the fire, which was surprising as in general I’ve found apps look slightly better on the roku.
Here we go again. It is not meaningless. Real Time does not appear on demand until the next day. We have been watching Real Time after dinner on Friday nights for years. Not ready to stop now.
I have tried out YouTube TV and Hulu TV. All in all they are decent. Thing that keeps me from doing it is we'll blow our Comcast bandwidth cap if we do 3 tvs plus our other use for a month. That keeps me with DISH for now. Plus Neither Youtube TV nor Hulu TV have the Pac 12 Network.
Likely when my internet promo price with Comcast ends in November I may migrate there for another deal. Comcast has its own web streaming service too - which is much more expensive, but it's an option as well.

One thing I found out when you decide to go all IPTV is if you subscribe to a service like HBO Now (which I have done since Dish no longer carries HBO) you cannot get live broadcasts till the next day (like Bill Maher, John Oliver etc). I assume the reason is conversion of the live show to digital format for streaming (my guess only). Broadcasters, Dish, Direct, Comcast, Spectrum can broadcast live Premium services. I did have the question to those who are using YouTube TV are you able to subscribe to the premium services through YTV and get live broadcasts?
YTTV doesn’t have HBO as an add on.. only Showtime and STARZ and those do have live channels. However, if you subscribe to HBO via Amazon Channels, you’ll get live channels through the various Prime Video apps on Roku/FireTV etc. You can also sign into the HBO Go app (not HBO Now) and get the best of both worlds.

Just so you know, if you subscribe to HBO via Amazon Prime Channels, they do carry live streams of several HBO channels. This was one reason I chose to subscribe that way until HBO returns to Dish, if it ever does.
1TB, we use abouy 700Gigs per month before streaming TV, when we tried out TV for the few hours we watched it a day it pushed it to 900gigs. If we watch full time we're screwed on the data caps.
I am also a 20 year Dish customer. Over the past year I have tested Youtube TV, DirecTV Now, Sling TV, Playstatioin Vue and Philo. I have tested these services on Roku, Fire TV and Apple TV 4k. I will be discontinuing my Dish service any day now and will be using DirecTV Now on Apple TV 4k's. I am picking DirecTV Now because, in my opinion, it has the best picture quality and the picture is an improvement over Dish. In addition, most of the channels I watch on DirecTV Now include Dolby Surround. Unfortunately, SYFY and USA are not included with Dolby. However, none of the other OTT services have any channels with Dolby Surround. DirecTV Now has a lot of bugs in its DVR, but I can live with the bugs for now in order to get Dolby sound. If Youtube TV included Dolby audio, I would pick them. I will be saving over $100 a month.
I don't pay nearly that much. I pay $83 (AT250, Movie Pack, Super Stations, and news pack for BBC World) with Dish, but I got a great deal of $30 off a month for a year. I would lose too much material if I was to drop Dish. I only pay for programming with the vip211k too. In my book Dish still rocks.
