Disney Plus +

For those of us who have already purchased that Apple product (all three) it would be nice if they extended that free year to us as well.

Seeing as I will be getting the new iPhone 11 Pro Max (they are getting with their naming), I will get it free for a year.

Now that this thread has become the most popular thread in this forum section, can we get a mod to correct its title? "Disney Plus +" = "Disney Plus Plus" ;)
Actually it's just Disney +...

Yes, that is what Zookster was trying to suggest for the thread title. ;)

I thought what he was suggesting was Disney Plus Plus and that is incorrect. If he meant it should be Disney + I would think he should have had the correct name in his post. Just trying to make it clear and correct this time around. :)

As TheKrell correctly indicated, I was showing it's redundant to have both the plus sign (+) with the word "Plus." Based on the ongoing discussion here, I assumed we all knew what the correct name should be (Disney+) and hence felt it was too obvious to mention. ;)

How? They are the same price as last year. ;)
Cost reductions and a sacrifice of profits to shore up market share. Look at what you can get from the Android marketplace for a fraction of the price.

This analysis applies to just about everything that has been announced recently. I'm sure that those who announced that they were getting into OTT were hoping for better than $4.99/month, but that's where the juggernauts set up shop and anything more is likely to be considered greedy. Of course there are the outliers like AT&T that don't seem to have a clue what the market wants nor what it will bear in terms of pricing.

Less than a month and still no app for US Fire TV, Roku, and LG WebOS. Be nice if they threw up a test channel. Hope my three-year pig in a poke delivers the bacon and some eggs too.
