AMC 8 @ 139w

Titanium, I knew about 4056, but I am way to far east to get it.

John, those Alaska stations have been gone from AMC 8 for quite a while. They moved to Eutelsat 113w, I believe, with a west coast spot beam. I can get them to scan in on a blind scan but they are not strong enough to lock. I watched them AMC8 for years. I do miss them.

Thanks guys.

It's 115w 3780 v 30000
33 channels are scrambled
There are not long stretches of unscrambled times like they were on 139w. Mostly scrambled.
Sometimes new channels get added and they are unscrambled for a day or two but that hasn't happened in a while.

The Alaska stations did not move to 113W. They could not be picked up in Alaska from that location.

Huh? The GCI cable ones are on 115w 3780. The mux that used to be on 139w. There is another mux on 131w that is labeled differently. Weather channel is unscrambled.. :)

What stations are they exactly? When you say Alaska channels. I am referring to Alaska Public Media IE KAKM, Alaska Public Television HD, Create, 360 North, etc.

It is in the Wut forum from 2012. It just gives the channel names of the Gci channel mux. Like Mikel said (he knows his stuff), it is on 115 encrypted. Anyway, Jim was hoping for a transponder on 139 from the east that he could see for signal on 139.

You guys have got me confused now. The GCI Alaskan channels I was talking about were on AMC7 @ 137w for years before moving to AMC8 @139w. They were on 139 for quite a while. Originally there were NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, PBS and GCI Channel 1 that did local Alaskan sports. Eventually they picked up a lot of new channels and moved to Eutelsat 115w with a west coast spot beam at 3780. Getting back to my original question, are there any live transponders on AMC8 @139w so I can find it and store it? I know about 4056, it's a spot beam and I am to far east to get it. LyngSat and Sat hints show 2 radio stations but since I can't raise them I am pretty sure they are gone also. MLB had their radio game feeds there for years but they have since mover over to SES11 @105w.

Are you sure you can't get the 4056 at 139W? When did you last try? There have been changes.
