I’m not too happy with the pay, but if I can clear $15 per install and keep my installers busy, it will work
I don't see how you can with there half off sale as they are showing you as installer only get $25 and $100 for box going by what they say on there order sheet from web site there no way for to clear $15 maybe if was $50 and it be very hard for any sat install do for me as they would have drive at lease 50 miles one way.
Well I guest keep all working then that good.
If was for my Cable ISP having painfully low data cap I would just go for TV steaming

I think they are paying $80/40 for installs.

Pay the tech $80/$25 I can make $15

Next time Orby DVRs go on sale I will probably get one. After two months of YTTV I am ready to try Orby.

I have found YTTV to be buggy and I don't like the interface. Looking forward to a more conventional DVR experience!

I cancelled Youtube TV today. Have never seen a service with so many bugs before. Finally gave up waiting for them to fix it. But I am stuck with it till March 24th, so I have a full month to switch to Orby.

Anyone know when Orby DVRs will go on sale again?

Looks like now you pay full price for the receiver and get the install for $25.00. The install kind of makes up for paying full price for receiver. I just looked on orby site. The install includes the dish and wireing to one room. I was at best buy today and the receivers were not on sale. Maybe this might be a good opertunety for claude to sell some of those receivers.

I believe this company receivers, is too expensive, i am also waiting on a price drop

If you pay $100 for a receiver and get it installed for $25. Do your math that is $125.00 including the dish, receiver and installation. The same figure as the previous sale. I only paid $50 for my receiver and $70 for the dish and I had to install it myself. So I saved $5 and had to install myself. When I looked yesterday the install do,nt include the pipe. I do,nt want anything installed on my new steel roof or on my plastic sideing. All you need is a length of fence pipe you can get at home depot.

I feel the same way -- do my own install. I don't want someone else messing with my house or wiring. Or some surprise installation fee for something that isn't included in the basic install.
