Out here somewhere
Been with Dish about 20 years now and obviously have gone through a lot of receivers in that timeframe but never anything like I saw yesterday! Turned on the HWS and went into the DVR as I wanted to check "scheduled" recordings. The times that were there were all screwed up as to what they should have been. Glanced up at the pip window and it said the date was 9/18 along with a whacked time. Backed out of that and went to the guide and it showed "no information" across the board although the correct show was playing on TV. I then went to the diagnostic screen and there were "Xs" in all sat locations..
Ran diagnostics test and everything came back ok and it said I had the sats but the date/time did not change. I then reset the HWS and when it came back up it now had the correct date/time and guide info was there. Have no idea what i'll see today when I turn it on but hopefully it was just a glitch..
Anyone else ever see this happen?
Thanks, Gerry

I see similar results sometimes when I first set our dish up at various RV parks and campgrounds. Sometimes it clears up by itself within a few minutes, but other times I do a second reset to straighten it out. Are you completely removing power when you shut down for the night instead of leaving the HWS in standby? I've never seen it happen with the receiver in standby overnight.

No, it's just powered off to standby mode every night....
