AMIKO Ku frequency 1000 MHZ low on some channels

I'm helping a friend set up his first Ku FTA system from a distance. He has a STAB HH90 motor and an Amiko Mini HD265 purchased from Europe. (Sorry Michael, you were sold out at the time)
His dish is pointed at 123.0 W. He has scanned in 4 channels. The 2 horizontal channels have the correct frequencies. The 2 vertical channels are 1000 MHZ lower than the actual channel frequency. Has anyone ever seen this issue, or is his receiver the problem?

The STB LO frequency is not matching the LNB LO frequency on the vertical scans. Is this the result of a blind scan?

This may be a STB menu setting or a component defect. If all menu settings are correct, this could be a LNBF or coax/fitting defect. The reduced 13Vdc LNB power on a vertical transponder may not provide the 22KHz tone (for LNB band switching) at an adequate amplitude. Have seen this with pinched or long coax runs and corroded fittings. Also with defective LNB 22KHz band switching.

Thanks Brian. He did a standard scan. I told him to try a blind scan. I'm traveling to visit him on Saturday. I will check everything that you listed and report back.

No worries. I kept trying, but COVID-19 had my shipment held up. I have them now though of course.

Brian gave good causes. Will be curious to see what you find out Saturday.
 
My friend fixed the problem. He was using the existing coax cable from the old Dish Network system that he removed. He ran some of the new RG6 that he just bought and the frequency problem went away. I still plan on visiting him this weekend (Saturday) to check out his system. Thank you very much for the suggestions and assistance!
