Hard Drive Problem On The DIRECTV Genie HR44-200 Receiver Error Code 923 PLEASE Help!!!!!!

Our DIRECTV Receiver just started having problems with the hard drive today and it happened after we moved the TV from the left side of the living room to the other side of the living room and i tried to record something to see if it would work but it's not working now please tell me what is going on because now we can't DVR anything until the message says to call AT&T DIRECTV Customer Care at 1-800-531-5000, extension # 923 okay?

Error 923 is a code for a Hard drive error ....

Have you tried rebooting the recvr yet ?
Thats the first thing I would do.

we did reboot the receiver and the same message came up after we rebooted it so now we have to wait for AT&T DIRECTV to send us an new box from UPS or FEDEX which will be here in 5 business days they said and then we have to ship the old one back and they won't charge us for the old one being shipped back to AT&T DIRECTV they said.

They typically are shipped to you and you have them in 1-2 days ...
Make sure you sent the old one back, or they will charge you for it, if its one that they tell you that want back.
