Got this skywalker 1/2 years ago and could never get it to work. It just sits in a corner collecting dust. i can't remember if it is a 1 or 2, doesn't say on the box. Any ideas?

You might be sitting on a jewel can you post a pic of it? It will work with alot of modern programs.

If I remember correctly, Skywalker 1 was in a box, mine is blue, it has 3 ports: a coax to connect to lnb, a port for an electric cord for power, and a USB port to connect to computer
the Skywalker 2 looks like a PCIe card, it slides into a PCI slot (I think it will go into both a PCI or a PCIe), but only uses it as a holder. It has 2 connections on/from the card to the motherboard, one for power, the other to communicate, and a coax connector, which would be seen outside the computer case

Edit: so the
Skywalker 1 is an external card
Skywalker 2 is an internal card
