Dish Scapes on 199 is interesting

Too much background noise.

Lights reflected in river do not reflect anything on the house - look like wreaths but only strings of lights on house.

What's with all the heavy breathing?

I watched the reflected lights for a while yesterday, trying to figure them out. The thing is, they seem to be related to the flashing lights on the house - then the house lights go out, the reflection happens in the ice. I would think they would be in sync.

Not sure why you'd create a beautiful serene Winter Christmas scene and then spoil it with noises. Ok, ok, I'm harping specifically on the barking dog (WHY!!??) but the other noises are a bit much as well. Rant over, I promise not to mention the dog again. ;)

Finally saw "Bigfoot" at about 52 minutes past the hour. He appears on the left side for about three seconds in the shadows and disappears behind the evergreen tree, not to reappear on the other side. He seems to be wearing a Santa cap, and could be a resident in the main cabin.

I agree that there's too much background noise. If it's intended to be wind, why are snowflakes falling downward slowly. In a wooded scene such as this, it should be so quiet as to hear a pin drop.

The Christmas light reflections do not match the actual flashing lights, as others have noted.

Also, there is black dot that moves around in the sky above the mountains for a few minutes. Is it meant to be a distant Santa and reindeer flying to their next stop?

I agree - the sound level doesn't match the visual ambience of the scene. The barking dog reminds me of visiting a relative of mine and their dog. But that's another story... :)

Well, in real life, the northern lights don't make a sound effect, either, but they always have one in the Dish Scapes. ;)

The lights reflected in the ice are someone else's display, located behind the camera.

During the snowstorm, the lights on all of the houses in the background all go out at the same time. So, true to real life, the snowstorm caused a power outage. The cabin (and all of the other nearby lights) must be on their own generator. This Dish Scape brought to you by Generac. :D

If you watch the tree to the right during the heavy snow fall, there is an accumulation of snow on the branches. When the storm passes some of the snow just melts while the big one in front "dumps".

Also noticed the lights in the water not matching anything else flashing.
I still like my theory:
The lights reflected in the ice are someone else's display, located behind the camera.
If only the camera could turn around, so we could see the actual light display that is being reflected by the ice.
