Anyone have this bundle? I am currently getting AppleTV+ for free, and I am part-way through my annual subscription to CBS AA. For what I pay for CBS AA without ads, I could get AppleTV+ and Showtime included. The only caveat I can find is it all goes through the AppleTV+ app, but I was hoping to get more info. If anyone has anything to share, it would be helpful.

I'm consolidating all my OTTs and this is a good package. Although I have seen it at a couple of different prices. On all this stuff you have to shop. I am using AppleTV+ and Hulu to grab them and primarily using my ATV4K watch it all.

I signed up a week too early, but I will probably get at least one month to check out a few more CBS series.

On my AppleTV, though, this works only through the ATV+ App; if I launch the CBS All Access separately, it doesn’t authenticate and find the account.

Yeah, that’s the way it is designed to work. I figure that is the way that Apple and CBS came to terms for this deal. Both Showtime and CBS:All Access only work within the AppleTV app. Fortunately that app is available on Roku and FireTV and supposedly sometime next year that app will be on at least some Android TV devices.

Same here. That's why I also keep a Roku in the mix

I had CBSAA then saw then AppleTV package and could get ATV on all our TVs. Once we could and since I got it through Apple where I used my Apple Login, I killed off all the other CBSAA app logins of the original and logged in with my Apple ID and I got right in with no commercials on anything. I love having no commercials.

I wondered early on and did some research and found that only CBSAA would let you do this. Showtime or ESPN no. But Apple was working on it. Just tried it and no joy.

Annoyingly, CBS AA has started showing me commercials while watching shows despite being on the no-commercial plan, at least on Firestick. I haven't seen any on AppleTV yet. Can't wait for my year to be up, so I can sub via the AppleTV+ bundle.

I haven't seen any commercials on Roku (my usual device for CBSAA) or when I used FireTV this week to watch Discovery in DV. Regardless, I'm cancelling when this season of Discovery is over until it's time again to binge another Star Trek season.

I played around with CBS AA on both Firestick and Roku tonight. I consistently still don't get any CC on most shows on Roku, and I regularly get ads on the Firestick.

I opened a case with CBS.
