Is there a consistent way to get Netflix working on Fire TV Cube with a VPN?

I found a couple ways to make some countries work and it takes several steps, but I'm having trouble with others but they seem to work fine on my Mac as long as I use the Chrome browser. But I'd rather watch them on my Fire TV Cube. I can seem to get the UK, Italy, and France to work for the ones I've tried. I can't seem to figure out how to get Canada and Australia to work. Also, there are some shows from Canada that work and some that don't. And sometimes NONE of Canada works. Australia on my Fire TV Cube NEVER WORKS. I've yet to try any other country, but want to know ahead of time what works. Are there certain steps that I need to do to make other countries consistently work with my VPN? (I use Surfshark.) I saw on a website that I should use ExpressVPN. Do I really have to get that or are there other ways?

You can't whitelist the App?? I don't use Netflix, but I use Surfshark for my VPN and whitelisting works on other apps, including Amazon Prime

In the past I have used smartdnsproxy for my pc with good results, but do not use it anymore. (don't know if it can be configured for your use though) Currently I use Private Internet Access configured on my router for everything connected to the router goes through the VPN. The odd time I will have to drop the connection and re-connect or try another city if a particular ip gets blocked by a particular service. It has been a long time since I had an issue with netflix, but I don't watch too much netflix anymore.

It’s okay. Surfshark seems to work fine for me. I found out that if the location IP address doesn’t work, keep disconnecting and reconnecting and look at the IP address for each switch, for the most part it eventually works and most of the time it doesn’t take that long with a few exceptions here and there. So I’m good!
