The Orville on Hulu

The Orville Finally Wraps Filming of Season 3 for Hulu, Seth MacFarlane Not Ruling Out Additional Seasons

27 months later. :oldlaugh Will eventually have to decide if it is worth paying for a month of Hulu to watch.
Good grief. I still don't think we'll see it this year though. They might have finished filming, but with all the VFX that has to be done in post, they probably won't be done editing it all until 2022.

That said, despite the fact the ratings will be in the toilet since everyone has forgotten about this show by now, I'm still looking forward to watching the new season. Compared to Discovery and Picard, at least Orville is a sci-fi series with good writing (not filled with a ton of plot holes), with actors who know how to act, and with characters who make intelligent and logical decisions based on the situations they find themselves in.

I just hope there won't be a noticeable drop in quality between Seasons 2 and 3, especially with the divorce that happened between Grimes and Palicki. I can't imagine how two people could go through something like that, and yet still have to interact with each other every day at work, having to put aside all of their anger and sadness from their personal lives, so it doesn't come through in their work. I couldn't do it, that's for sure.

Chances are the two may or may not interact much on the show on a daily basis.
You never know, but lots of times the full cast isn't even there on the same days.

I assume Norm finished all of his Season 3 voice lines for Yaphit before he died a few days ago. :(

A really funny guy, who always told it how it was, not afraid of offending others by voicing his thoughts and opinions. Now THAT is someone to look up to and admire, a role model for kids and adults everywhere.

He will be missed, but never forgotten.

I can imagine that Norm got along well with Seth, but you never know. He was an entertaining member of the Orville’s crew.

"Show the galaxy that humans are different, that we value life, even when our enemies don't."

Nice one. Clearly a hit against Star Trek Picard, which doesn't value life at all, as evidenced by how many people were needlessly killed or slaughtered in the first season.

But "New Horizons" though? Did they just copy Animal Crossing's title?

Being on Hulu it's supposedly able to be more "adult" oriented. Looks like they're gettin' a good start.

ORVILLE
the Blue Universe.

You'd think Seth would be all for that .... then again, he walked away.
I thought he came back after a "little come to Jesus" and "they" gave him back his control over the necessary running time he felt each episode needed?

Didn't the article mention various timelines?
