2 more episodes following the Origins trail from P+, lots of episodes I forgot about through the years.
So, are you saying there are 12 episodes for Origins ...

I was wondering how many they planned .

Seems like they are just getting the thing rolling, now we wait another Year, 2, 3 for the next season.

The way streaming seems to go, you rarely ever get the next season, when the next season would typically start.

Then again, you use to get 24 episodes per season too.

Now they give you enough to get you interested and then make you hang for years, in most cases.

This is a General statement about Streaming shows, not just NCIS ...

Then they didn't order enough. When I was growing up, series seasons had at least 30 episodes, usually more.
That was back in the 50's.

Back in my day, series all had 24 episodes ...

Now Streaming has decided that you can do it with only 10, sometimes 8 ... how sad.
Sometimes less. A new series on Acorn called Inspector Ellis has a whopping total of 3 episodes. But at the same time they'll have a new season for a series that has a single storyline but broken down into eight 45 minute episodes. And they'll release a single episode a week. Drives me nuts. At least Inspector Ellis had stand alone stories for each episode and they were 1.5 hrs long each even if there were only 3 of them.

UK shows have been like that for awhile, not that long ago, Sherlock would only have 3 episodes per season, disappear for a couple of years, back with another 3 episodes.
