Been a Dish customer for a long time-twenty something years.Every 2 years I play the loyalty/retention game and get a deal.
I wasnt asking for anything outrageous-just a continuation of the same measly $12 in credits off my bill if I reupped.
The CSR REFUSED to pass me along to loyalty/retention-the best he could offer was $5 off for 3 months.
I"ll play CSR roulette one more time and then I'm done.

Did you call the loyalty line? 888-436-1260
I seem to remember that number becoming a standard number after The Great Hack(already a distant memory). But I will give it a try next.
I guessing that Dish now has a metric on how often a customer gets passed up the chain and there was a Monday Morning memo emphasizing the point.

I just called it a couple weeks ago and they made me an offer I couldn't refuse, I'm sure they'll take care of you.

I called in last year the csr who I could not understand would not give me the time of day and basically said cancel I don't care. I called the number that was posted above and spoke with a lovely person who was from England and moved here . I believe she was from Virginia. She was so nice and generous. That's why I am still with dish you get the bad and the good. They should give you a very nice discount for a 1 year contract. I will be calling again in January hopefully I talk with her again.

you'll have to call in and play CSR Roulette and get some CSR torture:mad:. id'e tell em i'll goto dtv and get a better rate!!! and make it known that i don't need them and that they need me to survive!!!
