It's not a session limit, there's multiple major channels that you can't stream out of home with the FiOS app.

Correct its more of a streaming agreement limit they (FiOS) only allow certain networks to view outside of home. Where as DirecTV you can stream just about all channels outside of home ..

A few channels not yet available(on D*) like H&I etc.. or others mentioned on this thread.

DC already has access to the national feed. They were always allowed to offer it to streaming customers in markets where Telemundo is a LPTV or Class A signal owned by NBCU like DC's WZDC-CD.

This Press Release has the most comprehensive list of Affiliate & DMA Carriages (for one network) I've ever seen DTV put out. Not even in the early days of HD locals do I recall seeing something like this.

The wide reach of the World Cup must have spurred this big distribution and promotional strategy. I'll bet DTV will be one of the charter sponsors of the Telemundo coverage over the 6 weeks. Huge opportunity to drive significant subscription growth to the streaming packages.

Since all these Telemundo additions are local stations they would presumably be available in the basic lowest priced English package as part of the local channels line-up. They'd be grouped with all the local affiliates of ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, etc.

So therefore no need to get the Latino package to watch them.

One wrinkle: if your market does not have a local Telemundo affiliate then the Latino package would be needed to watch the national Telemundo Network feed (ch. 406).
