HD Receiver

I'm thinking of getting into this but don't know what to get, I need HD an receiver, which is the best and easiest to use for HDTV????? I also think I need a dish with a motor to change satellites, which is the best and easiest to get?????

If a HD receiver is a must, it might be worth the wait for the much-talked-about Fortec Passion, which should be out soon. Other than that, Coolsat offers the 8000, but no blind scan or 4:2:2. Blind scan is a must for finding wild feeds, and many HD feeds are 4:2:2.

As for motors, the sponsor merchants offer many dish/motor packages that should work well with the receiver you choose.

Tron, I'll have to disagree with this. Most HD feeds I've seen are not 4:2:2, in fact it's kind of rare. But, a lot (maybe even most?) of the SD backhauls are 4:2:2, and seem to be more and more of them.

But the more important HD feeds (such as the superb*wl) are 4:2:2
