Well that explains that....Good Luck with your install. My DP34 switch has been mounted outside on the back of my house for over 3 years now and still running strong.

If you are needing to feed 2 or less receivers and you are with only 1. Then why not use a Dish Pro Plus Twin LNB? Then no DP34 switch will be needed.

Try leaving the receiver off at least an hour, sometimes being off just 30 minutes just isn't enough time to start taking the download.
