I've isolated the connection (removed the switch) and connected the Cband lnb to my receiver. I have to manually scan the arc using my Gbox. Could you suggest a satellite and transponder to use for tracking?

Thanks. I think it's an excellent idea to get close to the dish (that is going to take some doing, but I'll make a plan to do that). I will try to bypass my switch first. Biggest issue is getting some TV time from my wife.
