I love my hopper. It's recorded everything I have asked it too. Way better then my 922. Had to do one hard rest due turning off the hopper while playing the Pandora app. Very happy with my Hopper!!

See to me watching tv on my computer is more hassle then its worth. Got to hook up my laptop to the tv, then got to get the mouse and keyboard, then find the show, sometimes it takes a while for it to buffer if it is the busiest time for internet traffic. When I get home I just want to sit...

I don't understand why the major TV networks are so upset. Auto Hop doesn't even get enabled till after 1 am, all advertisers care about is the live viewers and the same day dvr viewing. So why this matter so much? All other tv providers have Ondemand with no to very little commercials...

I sure hope so. I like it on my 922, just hate that it is kind of slow but nice to have it all in one place. With play-on, I can watch a show from Hulu, that I forgot to record, and show pics to my family with out having to go to my small computer room to show everyone.

Ok, I have a 922 and a 722K, all in one room. I have NLOS for WA and in the Tulsa, OK area, and no locals on the EA, now I want to record OTA locals, since I have none at all. So I have the 722 to do the manual recordings plus my regular shows, then my 922 is mostly for the sling, and movies...

It is more about there technology DISH wants, it is way better then what DISH has now on dishonline.com, that I how I feel, not about the the programming but the streaming technology.

Dropping a 722 and then getting a 211 does drop your price by $10 per month. But, in order to make it a DVR you have to pay the $40 fee, and you cant transfer the External Hard Drive from the 722 to a 211, it would make you have to reformat it.

I am kind of wondering how many people, just found out about dishonline.com, before the pop up how many people know about it. And why is there so much issue it is for like 2 seconds. I dont care.

I believe seeing in a thread a week ago or so, they where talking about how ESPN was getting rid of the SD feeds and just having HD feeds. So, I am guessing that is why, it is a HD Feed that is down converted to SD for non HD channels. So, it will keep the HD format. That is just a thought.
