Isn't the content encrypted so it can't be played of anything but an authorized receiver? I think the suggestion of a low-end turbo HD package would be appealing if all I wanted is to reduce my bill (and still get a pretty good package of channels).

Agreed that my apartment in 2002 said they did not allow dishes. I showed them the law from the post above and had it installed on my balcony the next day. If you are able to get LOS from your apartment you will be in good shape to move with your service.

I'm glad.. haven't missed ANYTHING and have watched a great deal of programming in the AT250 vs AT200 that I wouldn't have seen by spending that $10 on VOOM. VERY HAPPY DISH PULLED IT!
