Isn't a lot of the content on the HD channels just up-converted? A lot of the movies and concerts that are shown were not filmed in HD so I assume that they are up-converted....and some not very well. I agree that I am not sure that it is worth $20.00 per month since most of what I watch on HD...

That is because OTA is an HD tuner only and HD is not sent to TV2. If something is recorded on HD it will be down-converted when sent to TV2. Bruce

I went to the 625 about 2 months ago. I have record plus activated and TV2 as the default. From TV1, everything that I record defaults to TV2. If there is a conflict, it automatically goes to TV1. I don't have to go back and forth between TV's to set up any recordings. Bruce

I agree with the pixelation problem. I upgraded to the 510 which gives me a brighter picture than my 310 did but the pixilation is terrible!!! I haven't had any problems with the audio but the picture quality is driving me nuts, and of course Dish tech support is useless. Anyone have any ideas...
