I had a 10.5 perforated aluminum dish that I had disassembled and took to the scrap dealer and got $75.00 for it. This was about 4 years ago so metal prices might not be the same.

Sounds like the picture issue is slowly resolved. I would suggest trying a VIP 722 in place of the Hopper and check PQ from that receiver.

I have explained this problem in the past but here goes again channel 10 in Portland Or. lists 10.1,10.2 and 10.3 on the guide. 10.1 and 10.2 list the same programming however 10.2 has different programming. Why can't Dish get this right it has been this way for over a year.

I got a powered splitter from mono and it failed within a week or ten days. I returned it got a replacement, same result. I don't know if it was because of the unit or my equipment any way I am back to 1 HDMI cable and a componet cable.

You should get a whole new system from Dish. Dish, receiver and cable in other words the whole nine yards. You can cobble a system together by replacing your LNB with a dish pro plus and a single LNB on a separate antenna to get 129and while this will work you will be much happier with a brand...

For several months now maybe as long as a year the PBS locals in Portland Ore. have listed the same info for channels KOPB 10-1 and 10-2 when 10-2 has different programing.

Getting the OTA signals integrated to my 722K is very important to me. I would never consider the new Hopper system if i couldn't pump my locals through it.

I have had the same problem with my 722k locking up and I have to reboot then all is well. Then about a week ago I went to single mode instead of duel and it hasn't misbehaved since.

The PBS station in Portland Or is listed on Dish network as having the same content on 10-1 and 10-2 O.T.A. The programing on 10-2 is different. This makes it impossible to record from 10-2 because of different timing and not knowing the content of 10-2. This has been the case for several months.

This seems like much ado about nothing. Just pay the damn bill a couple days early and the won't call anymore and you will be relieved of the stress. Get over it for crying out loud.

I have three WD external hard drives on my receivers and have never had a problem with any of them. You can only go up to a 1 tb drive on a 211k.
