I have done some more checking online and on this forum and it seems I am not the only one that got a broken 211. Why can't Dish get it together and launch something that works? I was willing to forgive them for launching the new channels with MPEG4 headers and even for HD-lite. But...

this news is dissapointing. I just invested in a 1000 sat. :( Does anyone know if it is possible for the r-5000 to work with MPEG4 encoded streams? That would be better than a 622! So for instance pick up a 411 once prices have come down a little then get the mod done ;)
