Based on reading replies on this thread those with Original Hopper + Sling adapter have to upgrade to a newer hopper. Sounds right? How much are the upgrades running for right now? This is a killer feature I've been looking for. :whoo:

I'm pretty much surprised with the latest update they made to the mobile app. It works great on my android phone. It used to take a long time to load anything. Now I am watching content within ~ 15s of launching the app Posted Using The New SatelliteGuys Reader App!

My guess is that your experience will be awful with lots of buffeering/freezes due to limited bandwith. Like mentioned above best bet for this is transfer to Ipad.

What is the benefit of the Hopper with Sling if one's tablet/smartphones are Android? Other than the offline transfers which are only available on Ipad now, it may not be worth to upgrade yet.
