Your business plan point of view falls apart after the 2 year commitment is complete. Dish is not giving out lost leaders here. They recover their capital investment (equipment) within 1-10 months depending on the receiver and level of service. After one year at the most, Dish is making money on...

I don't think Charlie wants Tivo, especially if it has the 15% ownership clause price penalty. To get around that penalty I see Charlie buying all of Tivo's patents, not the company.

When Binghamton locals come on line 6/3, I would think your bill will go up to $62.99 + $2 for a total of $64.99. I live in the same DMA and that's what I expect. What is the pricing for SD customers? If I read this correctly they got a $2 increase as well. Thanks
