Make sure that the H20 has been setup to see the 103 and 99 satellites. If not it will not find the hd locals from satellite. If it is not then you will have to redo the setup and select the 5 LNB dish.

The problem with the older HD receivers is that if a channel stops broacasting and then starts back up, the receiver will see it as a new channel and put it in all of the favorite lists. This has been going on for a long time. Edit: This also happens on some of the older SD receivers.

Sorry I wasn't clear on that. What I meant was you can't copy the file like from a computer to a computer but only record from the DVR like a VCR.

If you look at the 6x8 multiswitch the 99 is combined with the 101 and the 103 is combined with the 110/119. Therefore you would not be able to just run 2 lines to the main lnb and 2 lines to another for 110/119. you will loose the 103 sat then. And once D10 and D11 are launched I would assume...

Yes you can use a dvd recorder with your dvr. It doesn't matter you can do it off live tv or off the recorded programs.

If you only had one cable connected and then changed to 2, you have to reset the R15 in order to get it to recognize both connections.

You should be able to change remote address in the menus of either one. Go to menu, settings, setup, remote and that should allow you to change the address.

Check your signal and see if you show signal on any transponders. If you get a signal on 22-32 then you have the dish pointed at the 119 and if you only get a signal on 28, 30 or 32 then it would be pointing at 110. If this is the case then you will need to repeak the dish to the 101 sat. David

No the multiswitch will take over and each cable will only carry 1 sat with the exception of the 119/110 even and it carries 2 sats.
