Goodbye 922, it just went in a box and back to the installers truck. The Hopper and Joeys are being installed currently. I did take my OTA module that i paid for thouigh out of the 922 if anyone wants it :)

I went ahead and got a Hopper setup scheduled, I love the 922 but in the end it feels like its done and EOL.

This whole issue has been very irritating recently. The last 3 days in a row i have come home to a receiver that has black screens on all Sat channels, works on OTA and recording playback. It lists all of the timers as having been Completed today however not a single one is actually on the DVR...

I have seen this too, its annoying but in the end not fatal.

I had initial issues with my 922, such as it locked up when i plugged the EHD from the 622 into it, it crashed when loading media from my network etc.... but when it comes to the satellite part and doing what its designed for primarily its been solid. One time it messed up the DVR listings and...

I called and they are find with giving me the 922, but i have to pay $95 for the tech visit to install it. If I am going to have a tech come out i think i will have them keep my 622 on the account and just use it for the kids in the other room.

You can carry it unloaded in your vehicle but beyond that I believe its a states rights issue, not federal.

I am licensed in several states that have reciprocity agreements with others. My resident permit is in Ohio, but I have others such as PA, FL, NH etc that give me lots of other states due to agreements they have recognizing each others.
